WE OPERATE A 5-STEP CLEANING PROCESS

Step 1: Prepare

Our preparation is efficient and safe. We:

  • Ventilate the space before and during cleaning, when possible

  • Use disinfectants approved by our local regulatory agencies for use against COVID-19

  • Wash/or disinfect our hands regularly throughout the process

Step 2: Clean

Cleaning is when we remove dust and dirt from surfaces such as floors and worktops. We:

  • Sweep, vacuum, dust, and/or mop areas before sanitising

  • Wash dishes and laundry at the highest heat setting possible

  • Wipe down hard surfaces with soap and water

Step 3: Sanitise

When sanitising we use chemicals to reduce the number of bacteria/viruses on surfaces like doorknobs and TV remotes. We:

  • Spray high-touch surfaces in each room with an approved disinfectant spray

  • Let the disinfectant sit for the length of time specified on the product label

  • Allow the surface to air-dry

Step 4: Check

Custom cleaning checklists are followed. We:

  • Refer to the best practices in each room-by-room checklist to make sure that all areas are cleaned and sanitised between each stay

  • Share these best practices with all members of the team

Step 5: Reset

To help prevent cross-contamination, we finish cleaning and sanitising a room before replacing items for the next guest. We:

  • Wash our hands before replacing guest supplies, linen, and cleaning kits

  • Safely dispose of or wash cleaning supplies and protective gear

  • Don’t re-enter a room once it’s been sanitised

  • Clean our equipment between each turnover

When required by local laws or guidelines, we agree to wear a face covering and maintain a distance of 6 feet (2 meters) should we be interacting with guests.

We agree to implement enhanced cleaning protocols and to follow all local laws and guidelines.

We will ensure that all team members follow these guidelines, and we comply with the COVID-19 safety practices.
